About Adrian
Dealing with difficult times
I remember, not so long ago, knowing I was going through some difficult times. I didn’t know then that PTSD and crippling self-doubt were leading me down a dark and difficult path.
A personal journey
I did know that I liked photography and increasingly discovered how being out with a camera, whether it be my phone, compact or DSLR helped me find those places and times of peace and value. Increasingly my images became an expression of a personal journey through many dark tunnels that in time resulted in my embracing taking photos as a way of healing. Indeed I photographed this journey using tunnels as an expression of my feelings. (Please feel free to see more of this on my blog)
Mindful Photography
That journey led me to embrace what is called mindful photography. Please feel free to read ‘meet me’ for more of my journey. And mindful photography was at first just words, until I embraced it as a way of healing, of recovery, of sharing and now as part of my life. (See Mindful Photography to see more of what it is and is not)
Commissioned Work
“Adrian recently worked with us to provide the photographs for an employer’s guide to employing with people with a learning difficulty. Not only did his photographs perfectly captured the true essence of what we were trying to covey in the guide, but he was professional, sensitive and courteous to all involved. We look forward to working with Adrian again.
