Trip contents summary
- Time: 10.00 – 5pm. 7 hours tuition
- Learn this about street photography
- Learn different ways of ‘doing the street.’
- Get off auto mode to enhance images.
- Explore ISO, White Balance and metering modes.
- Explore composition, movement & lighting.
- Does colour distract or enhance the image
- Black & white shooting – capturing mood and contrast.
- Max of 6 participants ensures each person has the chance to learn their own way and meet their own outcomes
Location
Starting near Tower Bridge station we will explore light and contrast before heading past the Shard and ‘Batman’ building before crossing the Thames for Leadenhall, the City and some lesser obvious locations along the way.
Itinery
- 10.00am: We will meet at Costa Coffee, 3 Southwark St, London SE1 1RQ. We will meet the group, discuss experience and goals for the day
- 10.30pm- 12.30pm: Adaptable as always we will try different shots, especially in mono around London Bridge and some iconic opportunities. As time allows I hope to throw in some perhaps lesser known locations.
- 12.30: Flexible as always we will find somewhere for lunch and to discuss progress and questions. (Cost of lunch not included.)
- 1.15pm- 4.30: Concentrating on the City of London and it’s opportunities before the short walk to Liverpool Street and the chance for some creative shots.
- 4.30 – 5.00pm: Unpack the day, questions and departure.
Please note the cost of travel on the underground is not included. I normally just use my Debit Card and ‘Tap and Go’ you may wish to explore options.
