Exploring Photography as a way to Well Being
everything you would want from a day
Trip contents summary
- Time: 10am – 4pm. 6 hours tutoring.
- Maximum 4 participants.
- Learn from someone who loves to photograph London’s Underground.
- Explore your camera settings including ISO, White Balance, Focus options and of course Shutter Speeds.
- Mastering different composition styles, movement & lighting.
- Black & white shooting – capturing mood and contrast.
- Get creative using stations mirrors, markings and more.
- Discover stations from the iconic to the less known.
Location
To an extent weather conditions will play a part. However, we will focus on stations across the Northern and Jubilee lines. We will take in the iconic stations of Baker Street and Canary Wharf to exploring others towards the end of the lines.
The day will include shooting on platforms, tunnels, stairs as well as taking in some areas above ground.
Itinery
- 10.00: Meet at the Meeting Place Statue, St Pancras Station.
- 10.10 – 10.40: Coffee meet each other. Share experiences and hopes for the day.
- 10.45 – 12.30: We will head for the area around St Pancras before heading for the first of our stations moving from one to another subject to TFL conditions.
- 12.30: We will take a lunch break someone subject to our location. (Cost not included.)
- 13:15: Discuss progress and participants wishes and needs.
- 13.25: Return to the underground for more opportunities and techniques.
- 15:45: Conclude with feedback and editing tips.
- 16:00: Depart ways.
Please note the cost of travel on the underground is not included. I normally just use my Debit Card and ‘Tap and Go’ you may wish to explore options.
