Trip contents summary
- Time: 5 – 9pm (dependent on sunset opportunities
- Learn photography techniques including metering modes, silhouettes, ISO and white balance.
- Street photography fundamentals
- Explore composition, movement & lighting.
- Colour v Monochrome.
- Black & white shooting – capturing mood and contrast.
- Use of leading lines.

Location
Canary Wharf, it’s towering buildings and architecture, to me always seem to be a city of its own, floating on the Thames. It is full of photo opportunities sat alongside a vibrant shopping and social district, all available to grab those shots!
Itinery
- 5pm – We will meet Infront of the Canary Wharf Sign to the right as you exit the underground on the Jubilee Line.
- 5.10: Depending on weather we will find a sit-down location to explore hopes and aspirations for the evening.
- 5.15: We will start at the square with views across the Wharf and cross rail before heading to Adams Plaza Bridge where opportunities abound to get creative.
- From here we will take in views of the Big Easy and continue our walk around this floating town taking in all the area offers.
- 8.15: Weather permitting, we will chose our nest sunset location for some of those Instagram images.
- 9.00 Debrief and travel.
