Beyond Bridges and Balloons: Bristol Night Street Photography
Date: Sunday 4th December
Time: 18:30 – 2100
With my Night Street Photography Workshop of the 27th November now fully booked I have added this additional date.
Bristol is an endless opportunity for photography during the longer nights. From classic street photography, bokeh as the Christmas lights come on, light trails and reflections, silhouettes, neon signs the list goes on.
During our time together under Adrian’s encouragement we will have an opportunity to see what a city looks like at night, try and experiment with different shots and for those would would like, to be a little creative.
Based around the Bristol City Centre we will meet around 6.30 and end around 9.00pm.
- Some of the opportunities we will look at:
- Seeing at the telling the story of the city at night.
- Explore the opportunities for silhouettes.
- Working with light and shadows.
- Exploring your camera settings.
- Bokeh photography.
- Experiment with light trails, even without a tripod!
- Legalities for photographing people and buildings.
Just come wrapped for the weather with camera in hand and see what the city gives us.
Although this course is best suited for those with a DSLR there are plenty of opportunities for those with smartphones.
Parking: The area has a number of car parking facilities including behind City Hall. The photo walk will start at 6:30 to give an opportunity to make use of the after 6:00pm parking charges.
Please Note: My ‘book any 2 of courses at the same time and get a third £30 – £35 course for free’ have become popular so I am extending the offer to make them great value Christmas gifts. Just book the two and email what you wish to book for free as the third.
